WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at ambulatory surgery center in Westchester County, NY

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 7am - 3:30pm.
\n
• Position patients and adjust equipment to capture images as requested by the physician.
\n
• Set up, operate, and maintain imaging equipment following established policies and procedures.
\n
• Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure their understanding and comfort.
\n
• Assess and maintain patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the procedure.
\n
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by adhering to radiation protection protocols.
\n \n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 1 year of experience as a General Radiology Technologist.
\n
• Proficient in the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various imaging equipment.
\n
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
\n
• ARRT certification required.
\n
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
\n \n
