Position Summary

The Tax Analyst supports assessment reviews for DMA clients to maximize tax savings and provide state and local tax consulting services.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Collect and organize client data
• Research and input data into Property Tax database and Excel spreadsheets
• Communicate with assessors and tax authorities regarding notices, valuations, tax bills, refunds, and appeals
• Calculate and process tax reductions and follow-up billing
• Track refunds and tax bills for billing support
• Prepare and revise spreadsheets for clients and team members
• Assist in generating client reports
• Draft general correspondence and interoffice communications
• Maintain organized client files
• Conduct basic tax research under supervision
• Prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion

Non-Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as ordering supplies, researching vendors, answering calls, greeting visitors, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education And Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics required; Bachelor's preferred
• 2-5 years professional experience, preferably in administrative support
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
